On Saturday 27th June we held our Annual Fundraising Event in memory of Jean O’Neil, a member who passed away in 2010 and sister to Janet.

This event is always well attended and Saturday was no exception! Lots of kits, raffle tickets and sales donations were purchased and, along with the wonderful display of cakes and scones, led to a very enjoyable day!

Members were making cards from kits supplied and donated by Sue Carine and Helen Collis and, in most cases, was the first time they had tried Swedish Weaving.  The kits also contained snap fasteners and Aida to make a glasses case and small purse along with stitch information and patterns for stitches. Thanks to Helen Sargent for the printing of these.
